Exfoliate before you Self Tan
Firstly, there is no hard or fast rule. So, don’t over think it.
Why should I exfoliate?
Exfoliation and prep is key to a great tan. It creates an even surface like a canvas for the tan to adhere to. If you have a build up of dead skin cells on your elbows for example, the tan will grab and go darker on these areas. So exfoliate all your dry areas away.
When should I exfoliate?
1-2 days prior is best. Not the day of tanning as it will result in a light result.
